Paid outside the US you also pay currency conversion and payout fees the figures above exclude — Patreon publishes 2.5% FX plus 1.55% + $0.25 per payout, which takes a $9.99 pledge to about 22.5%. We absorb those. Amazon additionally requires 90-day KDP Select exclusivity for the 70% royalty in Brazil, Mexico, Japan and India.
